You are welcome to address that with the bureaucrat who promotes you if you're successful, however I can note on the nomination that you want to have an initial trial and I'm sure that will be taken into account should the request conclude in your favour. Generally, what normally happens is that you are given the right, but if you feel that it's not for you, that you can give it up of your own choice by contacting a bureaucrat or placing a request on the requests for bureaucrats page. IP block amendments

Hi. I notice you changed some of the blocks that I put in place against some IP addresses. I wanted to let you know why I do this. In some cases, it's because those IP addresses are known to be long term vandal or abuser elsewhere, like English Wikipedia. Other times it's because the edits made by the IP trend to being rude or abusive. I don't mind you changing the blocks where I put them in place, but please talk to me first. Hi CaesarAugustus. I have made a request to the bureaucrats that the user is masked from the public logs due to the offensive nature of their username. I have also asked for their userpage and discussions to be masked. I know I can mask parts of an article or a user's page if it's vandalised, but I don't think I have that right for the site logs. Userbox supporting Ukraine made by user

Good evening. I wanted to raise an issue with you that I feel needs discussion amongst administrators. One of our users, Adnan, has make an English language version of a template available the French Vikidia, showing support for Ukraine, and condemning the Russian invasion.

I understand the purpose of the template, but I do not feel it is appropriate for a website such as ours, to be showing support for one side or the other, in a fight which is affecting everybody. Vikidia is there for all children in all countries, and us showing support only for Ukraine, feels like we're not giving that support for the children in Russia who most likely are suffering through sanctions, as the children in Ukraine are through the bombings and fighting.

I want to seek your opinion on whether we should retain this template or not. My personal opinion is that it's not appropriate and should be removed, but I'm not the only one managing this site. Your opinions count too.

Flavia44: Non, il n'y a pas de système de parrainage ici (il y a beaucoup moins de contributeurs que sur Vikidia en français). Quant à l'autopatrol, juste quelques informations sur les différences fr.vikidia/en.vikidia d'abord  :

• Les modèles pour les portails sont de cette forme-là : {{Portal history}}, sans la barre au milieu ;
• Les noms de catégorie sont au pluriel ;
• Les bandeaux d'ébauche sont ajoutés à la fin de l'article (le code est {{stub}}) ;
• Et l'espace Modèle: devient Template:.

The user seems to have quite a lot of knowledge about rap, and their edits seemed to be useful for expanding the article from a stub. Bonsoir CaesarAugustus:. Merci de votre contact avec moi, et je suis désolé de ne pas vous avoir répondu aussi vite que j'aurais dû le faire. En l'absence de meilleures idées, autres que ce que j'ai suggéré sur ma page de discussion, j'ai alerté les bureaucrates de fr.vikidia.

Un message a été diffusé sur la chaîne Discord, et je pense que le conseil d'administration de Vikidia est également au courant. Magasin3 est passé par là et est intervenu pour essayer d'aider.

Nous traitons toujours cela comme une urgence, jusqu'à ce que nous puissions soit contacter Puss pour nous assurer qu'il est en sécurité, soit qu'une autre aide soit disponible. Magasin3 l'a dirigé vers la ligne de crise 988 aux États-Unis, en supposant bien sûr qu'il se trouve aux États-Unis.
