Just a tip: you can use Wikimedia Commons pictures to illustrate articles in Vikidia.

Just a small remark about MediaWiki:Anonnotice: it should be "Join" instead of "Join to". Also, I think it would be even more dynamic and engaging without a link on "here". May I propose "Join Vikidia: create your account now!" instead, with the link on "create your account"?

Hi Comedia,

I fully understand your disappointment but, as said by Southparkfan and Mr Wiki Pro already, this decision is made to protect Vikidia from a risk. It's not about you as a contributor.

A Vikidia user with Administrator role has the possibility to use quite some powerful tools. When granting that role to a user account, the community actually trusts a real person represented by that user account on Vikidia. A hacked user account does not always correspond to the trusted person anymore: the community considers this a high risk for Vikidia.

Try to understand why you account has been used by someone else, or how. It may be because

• you clicked to remember your name and password on a computer that's not yours. Think not doing this any more!
• you chose a password that was too easy to find out, maybe by someone who knows you well. Chose a more difficult password!
• you wrote your password on a piece of paper and someone found it. Next time, write it in some encrypted way and put the piece of paper in a locked drawer!
• someone read the network communication between your computer and the Vikidia server. Using Vikidia in HTTPS will prevent this (this requires you first trusting TuxFamily's certificate)!
• ...there may be other reasons/means that I don't think about right now. Change your password and observe if/when it happens again, then try to find out why/how. By the way, beware any other accounts/passwords that you may have on other sites: they may be subject to the same hacking risk.

Anyway, you have done a lot for the good start of the English version of Vikidia. We all hope that you will continue to help as a regular editor. Create and improve articles, portals, categories... Share ideas and participate in Vikidia:Talk... Patrol recent changes (yes, you are still a Patroller)... Take a break if you wish, and then come back! Klipe (talk) 19:09, 1 June 2014 (CEST)

Resulta que me pasaba por tu perfil y resulta que dices ser reversor y luego dices ser administrador. Tienes la userbox de ser reversor y la de ser un administrador. Acláremonos: O eres admin o eres un reversor. Soy consciente de que un admin tiene el permiso de reversor, pero tu estás diciendo que tienes los permisos de reversor por separado a los de admin con esa userbox.

Hola. Tintle me ha dicho que tu le dijiste por mp que nuestro bloqueo en la vikidia en español (castellano) fue una artimaña para ir contra solymar. En parte lo entiendo, pero tintle dice estar muy enfadado por eso y que abrirá una revalidación. Si es que la abre, yo votaré a favor de que sigas como admin, pero igualmente estaría bien que me explicaras el motivo real de nuestro bloqueo en vikidia. Un saludo. Edit filter

That's beccause you are not a user autoconfirmed. If you are a user autoconfirmed - a user with 50 edits adn 4 days on vikidia, you can add external links. But only autoconfirmeds. A best regard. --Dorami-Doraemon (talk) 17:16, 5 July 2016 (CEST)

Thanks for the reply Dorami-Doraemon (t •  c •  b), however it doesn't explain why it was easily bypassed - the filter is clearly not working as expected. I've noticed this admin isn't a EFM anyway, so I'll track one down -- samtar ^{talk or stalk} 17:47, 5 July 2016 (CEST)

Sobre los trolls que vienen atacando últimamente Vikidia

Hola, y ante todo escribo en español para entendernos mejor. Los trolls que vienen atacando la enciclopedia son múltiples clones de Dorami, no me pertenecen a mi. Lo que pasa es que utiliza proxies para poder hacerse pasar por mi. Mi única cuenta aquí es Tintle (t •  c •  b).
