My current profile as a contributor may however not be considered ideal as I contribute only occasionally and mostly on help pages, categories and templates for the time being... Hi Comedia, your opinion makes perfect sense to me. To make it clear: I don't ask for the tools, I don't think that they would help me be more efficient in my own contributions, the current administrators do a good job... and being an administrator is not a goal in my life . If there is a need for more users with admin tools now, then I'm ready to help. If this need arises in the future, well... maybe I'll still be present, maybe someone else will volunteer... who knows! Vandalism

Thanks for reverting vandalism on Vikidia. These edits are made by a large vandal from French/Dutch Wkipedia, Dutch WikiKids and French/Russian Vikdia. He has almost unlimited IPs to use and so far I am not able to block all the IPs he uses. ;) Southparkfan 11:20, 26 April 2014 (CEST)

Design

Sure I'm ready to help! Maybe we could first agree on the expected improvements. Do you have any specific ideas?

I see 2 different templates: {{Regular delete}} and {{Speedy}}. On the page Vikidia:Request for deletion, the first step in the procedure is to place {{Delete}} on the target page: this is obviously not in line with the current content of that template (redirection to {{Speedy}})... but I'm quite sure you had something else in mind than just changing a redirection . Besides this, I would say that the current advice of presenting arguments on the talk page of the nominated page may not be efficient with a small active community and I would rather suggest to group comments on Vikidia:Request for deletion. That page may probably be slightly better organised to support this although I have no concrete proposal to make so far.

Was this already discussed somewhere and I just missed it? If not, you could start a thread on Vikidia:Talk.

I'm a new editor to this site, and I have a few questions.

1. Where should I make most of my edits? Should I focus on literature, history, science, mathematics, philosophy, music, art, religion, or something else? I'm comfortable with just editing these articles on the basis of grammar.

2. What exactly is this site, and who uses it? Is it used for schools in England?
