Jeremy Corbyn (born 26th May 1949) is a British politician. He holds leftwing views and identifies as a socialist. From 2015 to 2020 he was leader of the Labour Party and sat in Parliament as Leader of the Opposition.

In 2024, he was re-elected in Islington North as an independent.
