Welcome to Vikidia, Vikiviri!
Welcome to Vikidia, the encyclopedia for 8 to 13 year olds that anyone can improve
- Don't hesitate to modify articles on Vikidia, nor to create new ones. Your help is welcome!
- You can create your own user page where you can introduce yourself: see Help:Create your own user page.
- On discussion pages, don't forget to write: ~~~~ to sign, but not on articles!
- Warning! You should not copy content from other websites, because it's forbidden by law!
- Text copied and pasted from Wikipedia articles are unnecessary, so they are not admitted here: You can write about the things you like, but say it in your own words!
- If you need help, leave a message here. One of our experienced editors will be glad to answer your question.
- Finally, have fun contributing!

copying?[edit source]
are you copying pages? JohnRoi19301 (talk) 20:34, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- I have no idea what I'm doing here. Is this how I'm suppose to talk? I've never done wiki's before. No I'm not copying. I copied a bunch of source material. I think I rewrote most of it in my own words though. I'm not 100% sure. — This unsigned comment was added by Vikiviri (talk • changes).
- Thank you for your contributions, JohnRoi19301:. For the record, most of the topics on Vikidia are versions of articles from other wikis, usually the English or Simple English Wikipedias. We don't allow users to just copy and paste an entire article from Wikipedia — we ask writers who work here to rewrite the article in their own words. Copying pages is absolutely fine, as long as the person rewrites the work themselves. Also, Vikiviri:, when you leave a note on your talk page, please remember to sign it using 4 tildes (the ~ sign). If you don't know where to find this on your keyboard, please let me know which type of keyboard you're using (QWERTY or something different) and I will help you. Thanks!
