Regarding VOrun

Hey! Thanks for the tip-off. They gave themselves away elsewhere and they are DoveSmith123, aka Dove Windsor, aka Jaden Chavez and others. Blocked indefinitely, talk and user pages deleted and protected, and the Dove Windsor article is now deleted and also protected against creation. You have a good nose for this! You may have dealt with her / him before, but take it from an admin - please don't leave messages like that on anyone's page - vandal or otherwise. When I saw I had been blocked, I was completely confused. I have never "harassed" anyone, at least from my perspective. I just saw it as reverting vandalism, and having a bit of fun whilst doing so. (Thinking about it, I could have went about that better.) As for Encyc, it shut down because someone else doxxed Auggie, and from what I can tell from the forum post, it (the doxxing), caused Auggie to take down his forum as well, which I didn't even know about until I found that post. Les has made a few sockpuppets on Wikipedia, all of which are obviously blocked, and I have seen him make at least one anti-semetic comment on another website. His "autobiography", if you will, contains a lot of false claims, such as the claim that he is famous, or that he is the executive producer of a "major motion-picture" with "A-list actors". As for WikiMaster's block, he also blocked Dove's sockpuppets. (Yes, I am convinced that "8ight" is a sockpuppet, their editing style is a bigger red flag then the flag in Kijongdong.), and I think he just wanted the fighting to stop, so that block doesn't really mean much. I myself run a wiki about my home town, and am the only active mod of the town's subreddit. (To be fair, neither of them are really active). I have made several contributions to Vikidia, and looking at "8ight"s evidence, it doesn't even seem that good to begin with. RandomUser34^{Make the East Red Again!} 18:28, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

Thank you, RandomUser34. I have already had one CU carried out on 8ight, by a bureaucrat at the French Wikipedia, having had the same suspicions as you - however, because I had it carried out against the wrong account, it didn't show anything. I think if I do it against a more recent account, it may clear up any suspicions. At the moment, however, 8ight is temporarily blocked for 24 hours after accusing me of being selfish. I've looked at I.Ps that were reported to be used by DW on Wikipedia, and they always seem to be in or around Leicester. And like I said, that editing style is very suspicious. RandomUser34^{Make the East Red Again!} 23:47, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

An apology to you

I should have recognised this user a lot sooner, despite checkusers not showing anything. The IP address is now blocked for 3 years on a rangeblock, I have removed the edit in which you were libeled, and I am now in the process of removing the IP edits and vandalism from both 8ight and the IP. There is now no question in my head that this is Dove/Jaden/Whatever. Please accept my apologies for the hassle you've been subjected to. Your block will be lifted in a few moments. For the record, I've submitted an abuse report to BT Networking, and I'm seeking permission to consult a specific body in the UK. 3 out of the last 4 IP addresses used by Dove geolocate to the offices of a local government authority in England.
