iPhone 15 (2023).

The iPhone is a line of smartphones created by Apple comprising several generations, running on the mobile operating system iOS, also developed by Apple. Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone, the iPhone 2G, on January 9, 2007. Every year, Apple releases new models as well as operating system updates. As of November 1, 2018, more than 2.2 billion iPhones have been sold.

Its user interface consists of a multi-touch display. The device connects to mobile networks or Wi-Fi, and users can make calls, browse the web, take photos, listen to music, and send and receive emails and text messages. Since its launch, additional features have been added, including larger screens, video recording capabilities, water resistance, the ability to install apps via the App Store, and numerous accessibility features. Until 2017, the devices featured a design with a home button on the front panel that returned the user to the home screen. Since then, the models have become more expensive and feature a nearly bezel-less front screen, with an app-switching function activated by gesture recognition.
