James Joyce

James Joyce was an Irish writer. He lived from 1882 to 1941. He died at the age of 58.

He lived most of his adult life in Switzerland and Paris.

He had a hard life with blindness, money troubles, censorship, and his daughter's mental illness.

His writings include The Dubliners, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake.

He created new ways of writing and experimented with language.
