John Vincent "Vince" Cable (born 9 May 1943 in York, England) is a British politician who is the former Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. He became the Secretary of State for Business after the 2010 general election. He is a member of the Liberal Democrat party and a former MP for Twickenham. Cable lost his seat in the 2015 general election.

Cable led the Liberal Democratic Party from 2017 to 2019.
