As of July 2022 I am a complete newbie to this site, but have been editing wikis for years. Please let me know on my talk page or the relevant article's talk page if the level of comprehension and complexity of explanation is inappropriate in any way. I am primarily a content creator, but also tend to copyedit whenever I see an error. I will mostly be adding summarised versions of articles I have worked on on Wikipedia that seem worth having here too. Arbitrary, bitey and questionable deletion[edit | edit source]
I started an article on Underwater diving using properly attributed CC-by-sa content from Simple English Wikipedia as a basic framework, and was busy expanding it when it was deleted without discussion by user:Ajeje_Brazorf with the edit summary (Please don't copy from simple wikipedia}, and no explanation why not. If I had done that on English Wikipedia I would risk losing my admin bit. If this is how new users are routinely treated here this encyclopedia is doomed. I will not be back to waste my time here.
