Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian: Република Босна и Херцеговина/Republika Bosna i Hercegovina) was a state in the Europe existing from 1992 to 1995. Bosnia and Herzegovina seceded from the disintegrating SFR of Yugoslavia in March 1992. The war in Bosnia(1992-1994), lasted throughout the existence of the republic.

Army of the republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established on 15 April 1992. It were the armed forces of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the Dayton Agreement, the Army was defined as the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
