The Prime Minister of the Netherlands (Dutch: minister-president van Nederland, premier van Nederland) is the head of the Dutch government. He is also the minister of General Affairs. The Prime Minister is the Chairman of the Cabinet and is responsible for the policy of the Cabinet. The current prime minister is Mark Rutte, member of the People's Party of Freedom and Democracy (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie).
