Martin Niemöller was a German religious leader who opposed the Nazis during World War II.
He lived from 1892 to 1984.
He was a Lutheran minister.
He was put in prison in Nazi concentration camps for his beliefs.
After the war, he got German churches to say they were wrong for not resisting Adolf Hitler.
