Hippocrates of Kos (c. 460 – c. 370 BC), also known as Hippocrates II was a Greek doctor and philosopher, he is considered one of the most important figures in the history of medicine and is known as the "Father of Medicine".

Biography[change | change source]

Many historians agree that Hippocrates was born around 640 BC on the island of Kos in modern day Greece. However, other biographical information is considered likely to be untrue.
