Dibbendu Dwip (1984) is a Bangladeshi writer and researcher. He is mostly appreciated as a poet among readers. Dibbendu Dwip was born in Masani village of Kachua upazila of Bagerhat district. Dibbendu Dwip completed his Honors and Masters degree from Dhaka University and got involved in various social movements. While studying at the university, he campaigned for student parliament elections, organized the Clean Dhaka University program and published a small magazine called Atharo. He also edited small magazines called Shabdo Deul and Ananga. Currently Dibbendu Dwip edits an online magazine called follow-upnews. He is the founder of the social organization 'Shaheedsmriti Preservation Committee' and 'Safe Food Movement'.
