Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound made up of hydrogen and oxygen. The formula for hydrogen peroxide is written as H2O2. In the simple form hydrogen peroxide is a color free liquid. Hydrogen peroxide feels thicker, or is more viscous than water. Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidizer. It is used as a bleaching agent and disinfectant.
