Donald Henry Pleasence (5 October 1919 – 2 February 1995), was an English actor. He starred as psychiatrist Dr. Samuel Loomis in Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween 4, Halloween 5, and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.

He was born on 5 October 1919, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. On 2 February 1995, he died at age 75 in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France, due to heart failure
