The Brazilian Land Forces (Portuguese: Exército Brasileiro) is the army of the South American country of Brazil. With 219,585 active soldiers, it is the second largest army in Latin America and the third largest in Americas, after the Americans and the Mexicans. The Brazilian military also has a small air branch that flies helicopters.
