Bangladesh Premier League
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh that was organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board in 2012. The inaugural season began on February 10. Dhaka Gladiators won the first and second seasons, while Comilla Victorians, a new team, claimed the title in the third. The following year, the newly-formed team, Dhaka Dynamites, became champions. The fifth season of BPL was started on November 2, 2017, with the addition of a new franchise, Sylhet Sixers. The Rangpur Riders won that season. Comilla Victorians secured their second championship in the sixth season by defeating the Dhaka Dynamites on February 8, 2019. On February 18, 2022, Comilla Victorians won the title for the third time by defeating Fortune Barisal by a single run. Finally, on February 16, 2023, the Comilla Victorians clinched their fourth championship by defeating Sylhet Strikers by seven wickets in the final.
