Édouard Manet

Édouard Manet (23 January 1832 – 30 April 1883) was a French painter. He is credited with initiating the Impressionist movement in art. His best known works are Olympia, The Fifer, Luncheon on the Grass, and The Bar at the Folies-Bergère.
