The top of cards are from left to right:

  • Draw 2
  • Reverse
  • Draw 2
  • Skip
  • Box the game can come in
  • Wild
  • Wild Draw 4

Underneath the top row are:

  • two hands of five cards (the game starts with seven)
  • the draw pile
  • a sequence of possible plays for a two player game:
    • Yellow 1 is initially laid from the top of the deck
    • Player 1 plays the yellow 6
    • Player 2 plays the green 6
    • Player 1 plays the wild card and calls the color red
    • Player 2 plays the red skip
    • Player 2 plays the blue skip
    • Player 2 plays the blue 3
