John I of France

John I (15-20 November 1316), was king of France and Navarre from 15 to 20 November 1316. He succeeded his father Louis X (1314-1316) and was replaced by his uncle Philip V (1316-1322). Son posthumous of his father born in the night from 14 to 15 October, lived only five days and was buried in the Basilica of San Denis. His uncle who secured the regency of the kingdom was proclaimed king after his death.
