Stubs[edit | edit source]

What exactly makes an article a "stub"? Can someone please show me an example of something that is NOT a stub? To me, it seems like a stub is an incomplete article. Let me know if I'm wrong. If I'm right though, why in the world is the star article a stub??? Probably shouldn't do that.
