I am requesting permissions to act as an abuse filter manager in order to engage and prevent spambots from posting on this wiki. We have had (and are still getting) persistant random incidences of spam from bots and IP addresses, and rather than block those addresses and take deeply restrictive actions, I would like the ability to upgrade and add to the abuse filters to prevent spam from occurring.
