This page is set to fix how we can or should import article from Simple English Wikipedia and Wikijunior.

It can be made with Special:Import.

Instructions[edit | edit source]

Transwiki[edit | edit source]

  1. Make sure that you are a Patroller.
  2. Go onto Special:Import
  3. Go down to the "Transwiki Import" section.
  4. Fill in the required information
  5. Select Import.
  6. Go to Special:MovePage/ImportedPageName and move the page to the name you want.
  7. Clean up the import.

XML[edit | edit source]

  1. Make sure that you are a Patroller.
  2. Go to Special:Export on the wiki you want to export from.
  3. Add the pages you want to export on seperate lines.
  4. Click Export
  5. Go onto Vikidia, and select Special:Import
  6. Click Browse
  7. Find the file on your computer
  8. Click Upload File
  9. Go to Special:MovePage/ImportedPageName and move the page to the name you want.
  10. Clean up the import.
