CheckUser is an extension and special page that allows some users (CheckUsers) to query the IP-adresses and UserAgents from users, and UserAgents of IP-adresses.
Use of CheckUser on Vikidia[edit | edit source]
Use of the CheckUser tool is authorised: Users who need a CheckUser to be performed, should request it here.
CheckUser may only been used under at least one of the following circumstances:
- Vandalism;
- Suspected sock puppetry (good motivation needed and only in case of abuse);
- If needed by legal actions; and
- To protect Vikidia, their users or the public
