Antoine8338 (talk) 17:05, 12 April 2014 (CEST) Cows A cow is an mammal who eats a lot of hay, grass and, at some places, corn feed which are little grains made out of corn. Cows can live in different places. The wild cows can be in alps, in a random field or even on patches of fresh grass. Domestic cows live in closed in pens on the little farms example in Switzerland. The others live in stalls. They are called the commercial cows because they are used to either give milk for the country or give beef for the country. The ones that give milk are called dairy cattle and the others are called beef cattle. Cows have four stomachs. When they eat the food passes by their first stomach, the reteculum after it's the rumen, then the omasum and then it goes through the abomasum. After all this it comes out of the cows bum in form of cow manure (their poo that is also used as dirt for gardens...). Did you know that the record milk giving cow is Smurf and she lives in Ontario at the farm Gillette. You probably understand that if we didn't have cows we wouldn't have butter, cookies and all the great stuff we have. Sie*2
