Hi Ajeje. I contacted the administrators at fr.vikidia last night and asked them to put a protection on my page at the German Viki, for autoconfirmed users only. I will ask Linedwell if he can do the same to all of my userpages and talk pages at each vikidia where I have a page. It might be good if you can contact the admin there too, and ask if that account at the Greek Vikidia is blocked for you. Greek Vikidia is so small there aren't any local administrators there. Rangeblock on Cloudflare (1.1.1.0/24)

Hi. I noticed you blocked Cloudflare's DNS resolution service, 1.1.1.1 as part of a rangeblock. Cloudflare need access to Vikidia as it provides a service to warn users when we're down or out of service. Would it be possible for you to lift this block please? Thanks! Modifying my block of Marquite

Hi. I noticed you modified the block I placed on Marquite for their comments on Klipe's talk page. Could I ask if you want to do that, that you talk to me about it first so we can discuss it please?

It doesn't look good for administrators to be publicly disagreeing about how to handle a matter.

I've always come down hard on people who leave messages like that on other people's talk pages, as a way to discourage them from behaving like that again.

Maybe we should actually set a blocking policy for this wiki instead of leaving it to administrator discretion, so we're all singing from the same hymn sheet. What do you think?

Ikr DaneGeld, but blocking for too long for the first insult is a bit too strict. If a new user get blocked for a month for insults, he can be enerved and can evade the lock to insult again. for the blocking policy IMHO the first insult should have a ban of 1 week, the second 1 month and the 3rd infinite. That sounds perfect Angelo. Because we don't yet have our own blocking policy, we defer to Wikipedia, and their blocks are usually after 2-3 warnings. Should we include this? Because with it being an encyclopedia for children, I don't think we should wait too long to step on bad posts and edits. Otherwise, I'm on board with your plan. I think that for minor problems, like editing tests, etc, we could follow the warning/warning/block system. If it's more serious, we should have the option to block immediately. Hi Adnan: I was the one who blocked BlueCoin and BlackCat, and they are blocked indefinitely. This is because checkuser evidence confirmed they were the same user; the sockmaster is BlueCoin, BlackCat was created to edit while BlueCoin was blocked. Userbox supporting Ukraine made by user

Good evening. I wanted to raise an issue with you that I feel needs discussion amongst administrators. One of our users, Adnan, has made an English language version of a template available at the French Vikidia, showing support for Ukraine, and condemning the Russian invasion.

I understand the purpose of the template, but I do not feel it is appropriate for a website such as ours, to be showing support for one side or the other, in a fight which is affecting everybody. Vikidia is there for all children in all countries, and us showing support only for Ukraine, feels like we're not giving that support for the children in Russia who most likely are suffering through sanctions, as the children in Ukraine are through the bombings and fighting.

I want to seek your opinion on whether we should retain this template or not. My personal opinion is that it's not appropriate and should be removed, but I'm not the only one managing this site. Your opinions count too.

Hi Angelo! Sorry I've not been about much, I've had the dreaded COVID again... I notice you tagged Zolapin as a Sockmaster; could you tell me who their socks are please? @DaneGeld: He's a know sockmaster (look fr:wp:Wikipédia:Faux-nez/Zolapin). He'll probably create some of them in the future (he's very active right now, see RCs on frviki). A Zolapin's sock is probably I am the walrus. PS: I have now officially changed my name :P. I want to be proud of my Sicilian origins, so I have now changed my name to "Àncilu".--ANGELO ^{(a.k.a.
