§ his work and diffusion equation[edit source]

Hello, in my opinion, the diffusion equation is too hard for teenagers. I have tempted to explain the sense of that equation ; and I have been driven to hard difficulties. The main result is : x² = 2D t ( don't confuse with t² = (2/g) x , the galilean law ! ). I repeat many examples, because repetition fixes notions. This law is very strange in fact : dx/dt = D/ sqrt(t) : more time elapses, the slower the movement ; it is more and more slow. Not at all as propagation, with constant celerity.

Nevertheless, I would suppress this equation. I would remplace by difference equation :

(T - T-1)/τ = D.[T1 + T-1 - 2T)]/(δ)² .

That gives the essential of the results. The difficulty is less , but subsists. I need help.

I have added the theorem on Fourier analysis : he is well known for that.

In my opinion, I would add a pretty book of Fourier : "la description de la campagne d'Egypte" . Young, then Champollion will write the beginnings of Aegyptology after this work. It seems to me that can interest young teenagers : the mysteries of cryptography !

Sincerely yours. More if you want. The essential of Fourier's bibliography can be found on Alain Juhel's web site (in french). --Desmodille (talk) 14:28, 17 April 2016 (CEST)
