France is a republic since the 22 september 1792. Louis XVI has been deposed on 10 August 1792 and encarcerated. The napoleonic First Empire begins on may 1804. After the napolonic defeat, France became a kingdom Restauration and July Monarchy, then the Second Republic, then the Second Empire, and afterwards succeeded three republics Third Republic, Fourth Republic and Fith Republic.--Alexandrin (talk) 18:14, 23 December 2013 (CET)

Restructuring and improving article for better reading

Hello! I reviewed and improved the display of the article as I can. Despite a lot of changing I carried you, nothing is perfect and I ask all English-speakers who know France to improve it. I'll come to write it again later.
Also, I'll not undo Cleanup template without any consensus.
