Niger State

Niger State is one among the 36 states of Nigeria formed in 1976. It is situated in the North Central geo-political zone with the largest landmass covering 86,000km. The state has 25 local government areas with Minna as its state capital having major cities which are Bida, Kontagora, and Suleja. [1] It consists many tribes with two as majority, the Nupe followed by Gwari. [2]
