A museum is a building that houses various values, works of art, aspects of history, traditions and antiquities. They are divided into scientific, artistic, and even galleries. They have cabinets to store and display collections of graphics, coins and medals.

The Pinacoteca is an art museum that exhibits only paintings, while the Calcoteca is a museum of sculptures, and the Glyphotheca is a museum of plaster casts of sculptures and reliefs.
