Mount Hood, located in Oregon, United States, is one of the volcanos part of the Cascade Range.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Mount Hood is a stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc of northern Oregon. It is located about 50 miles (80 km) of Portland. It is Oregon's highest mountain : 11,249 feet (3,429 m).

Mount Hood Railroad[edit | edit source]

The Mount Hood Railroad is a shortline railroad located in Hood River, Oregon, 60 miles (97 km) east of Portland. The majority of the railroad's revenue is generated from passenger excursions.
