Mickey is depicted in color. In the actual cartoon, he was black and white.

Mickey Mouse is a fictional character created by Walt Disney. His first appearance was in the black and white film Steamboat Willie. The film lasted around 7 minutes and was about Mickey and his spouse Minnie. It was first shown in cinemas in 1928. Mickey wears red pants, white gloves, and yellow shoes.
