Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai (born on July 12th, 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan) is a young activist who is aiming for all girls in Pakistan to be able to go to school. She became the youngest person in the world fighting for the schooling of Pakistani girls. She also fights against the Taliban's presence in Pakistan. While she's only 17, she has received many awards worldwide.
On October 9th, 2012, a Taliban soldier tried to murder her in a school bus. She was shot in the head at close range and very seriously wounded, and she was in the hospital for a long time. Two years later, she received a Nobel Prize for Peace, that she shares with Kailash Satyarthi.
