Thanks! I had hoped to create this page some weeks ago already ([1]) but some other help pages had to exist first, as well as some templates and their documentation. In total it took me quite some time to achieve a useful result! Now I think that a new user has got a starting point to create his user page while at the same time learning about wikitext, how to use templates, etc. Further improvements and suggestions are obviously welcome!
