Grease (Oil)

Grease or Oil is a substance which comes in lots of different forms.

Some types of grease or oil are used in cooking (sunflower oil, olive oil, natural greases likes Duck or Goose fat, etc).

Other types are used for helping to keep mechanical items like bicycles and cars running smoothly, or for making sure tools such as lawnmowers and saws don't become stiff or hard to use.

Some chemicals, like white phosphorus have to kept in mineral oil, because they are dangerous when they come into contact with the air, and catch fire or give off poisonous gases.
