Fyodor Dostoyevsky was a Russian writer. He was born on 11 November 1821 in Moscow, Russia, and died on 9 February 1881 (aged 59) in St Petersburg. He was married twice and had four children. His best known novels are Crime and Punishment, The Idiot, and The Brothers Karamazov.
