Eleanor of Aquitaine was born in France in 1122 AD, and died around 1st April, 1204 AD in Poitiers. She was Queen of France as the wife of King Louis VII. She then married King Henry II of England and became its queen.

She was one of the wealthiest and most powerful women in Western Europe of her time.
