Easter is a holiday celebrated in the Christian world. The day commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It always falls in a Sunday in March or April. Christians celebrate by going to church on Easter morning.

Secular holiday elements in the United States of America include baskets of candy, the Easter Bunny, colored eggs, Easter bonnets, jelly beans and "Peeps", Easter parades, Easter Brunch, new clothing, Easter egg hunts, Easter egg rolls, and Easter egg trees.
