Dracula is a 1935 Universal Pictures horror movie starring Bela Lugosi as Dracula. It is based on a play and a novel by Bram Stoker of the same name. The movie tells of a vampire who leaves his home to prey upon the people of London.

Dracula is widely regarded as a classic of the 1930s and of the horror genre. In 2000, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
