Deforestation
Deforestation is the clearance of forest or a large land area with flora and even fauna for non-forest use such as for agriculture, urban use and even refineries or industries. On average 2400 trees are cut down each minute ! Also between 15 million to 18 million hectares of forest are destroyed per year .This leads to increasing greenhouse gases and thus , global warming.

The people living near the industries live there on the risk of suffering from respiratory diseases and other problems . Our own planet is in a critical situation , The furniture in our homes to the construction of our homes and our essential medicines to the pages we give our exams on , everything is made up of wood and trees.
