Catherine I (Russian: Екатерина I; 15 April 1684 – 17 May 1727), was an Empress of Russia from 8 February 1725 until her death in 17 May 1727.

Life

Catherine I was born on 15 April 1684, in Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire. In October 1721, she become Empress consort of Russia. In February 1725, she become Empress of Russia. Two years later, Catherine I was death in Tsarskoye Selo, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire, cause by Tuberculosis.
