Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or AOC (born October 13, 1989) is an American politician and activist. She serves as a member of the United States House of Representatives for the Democratic Party. She was elected on June 26, 2018 and is at the age of 29 the youngest woman who served the House of Representatives.
Together with Rashida Tlaib, she is one of the two first female members of Democratic Socialists of America. She wants to provide medical care for all, federal job guarantee, a Green New Deal, immigration reform, free college tuition and higher taxes for the rich.
